one day website refresh for Forrester Consulting.

the brief:

Like many small businesses, when Jeff Popp started Forrester Consulting in 2015, he created his website on the Wix platform. Eight years later, he decided it was time to update his DIY website - and add a bit of professional polish.

Forrester Consulting booked my Designer for a Day package with a brief to smarten up the existing website and make it look more professional.

In the lead up to his booked day, we discussed the website and what Jeff wanted it to achieve and his website wishlist.

design day:

On the booked design day, I worked through the website wishlist; including the following deliverables:

  • Restyle the Home Page

  • Fix a few responsive design issues

  • Add a Hero Statement and new information about Forrester Consulting’s advocacy services

  • Add a Services overview to the home page

  • Implement a series of animated elements to create movement and interest on the page

  • Update the client list and create a Canva template and instructions for adding additional client logos.

  • Restyle the Services Page

  • Add additional offers and information to the Services Page

  • Restyle the About Page

  • Add a headshot to the About page

  • Restyle the Contact Page

  • Test all links

  • Update SEO descriptions and page titles

the feedback:

By the close of business on his Design Day, Jeff had a completely refreshed website and instructions on how to edit and update any new features.

He was quite happy with the result, sharing this feedback:

“We had been thinking about updating our website for a while, and after working with Kate, I wish we had called her earlier!

Kate did a fantastic job bringing our site back to life and we’ve seen increased traffic as a result.”
