The final reveal is your phone featuring an instagram profile, but you could share a website sign up page, or a key message.
why this works:
This format is a strong visual hook and has great retention because of the dopamine hit we get watching the paper spring apart to reveal the next layer.
It’s anticipation, it’s reward and it’s quite simple to do.
And best of all, you don’t need to squeeze filming this message into the boss’s busy calendar.
how to steal this reel… and make it political:
First figure out the message you want to share.
Remember, the goal is to tell a (very) short story - so aim for something a bit more compelling than I committed $3 million / to this fix this road / so you can get home safer and sooner.

So (result or call to action)
Final Message or screen reveal.
Now it’s craft time.
Either write or print out the message on your paper. Remember to keep each sentence short and centered on your strip of paper.
You will need to print the message in landscape. An A4 piece of paper isn’t quite wide enough for big loops that you could cut easily.
The next step is to tape each message around your phone.
Make each layer a bit looser than the last, and make sure you leave enough room for the scissors to cut.
Film with an overhead tripod or phone mount so the shot is steady and clean.
Then pull out the scissors and get cutting.
If you edit the final result in Edits - and you want more follows - you can add a clickable profile button on the final screen.
