how to create the reel:
Quickly sketch out the key points of what you want to say and how you’re going to say it. You don’t need to write a script, but it is helpful to know the key points you want to make and how you are connecting those points so you don’t waffle on.
Set up your phone with the front facing camera on your desk. Prop it up against some books or your water bottle - whatever you need to get a good lower angle shot.

Be natural! You can move your hands or lean in towards the camera as you would when you’re talking to a friend.
Don’t be afraid to film as many takes as it takes. You’re aiming for a clear, concise message that looks and sounds natural. You’re not aiming for perfection.
